Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
