Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
